Topicmarks is a free web service that creates smart, interactive synopses from electronic documents in minutes. Topicmarks may be useful for anyone who needs to read many and/or lengthy electronic documents.
Topicmarks works using advanced natural-language processing technology. The full text is broken down into sentences, and meaning, like synonyms and antonyms, is attached to each word in the sentence. Then triplets (typically between subject, verb, and object) that are the basic facts expressed in the text are identified.
Upload multiple texts and Topicmarks finds links between texts, groups texts around topics, and retains all the facts from all the documents.
Currently, Topicmarks supports the following file types: pdf, doc, docx, odt, htm, html, and txt. Adding more file formats is planned for the future.
Note:Topicmarks works only with English language texts.
