The Blobz Guide to Electric Circuits is an interactive website where kids can learn about electric circuits.There are five sections in the Blobz Guide to Electric Circuits. In Section 1 students find out what makes circuits work. Section 2 is about conductors and insulators. Learn about switches in section 3. Changing circuits is the subject of Section 4. Section 5 teaches kids about circuit diagrams.
Each section includes an information and learning segment, a related activity, and a quiz on that section. If students correctly answer all of the questions in the quiz, they are rewarded with a bonus activity. Each section is explained using colorful pictures, animations, and text by the friendly Blobz characters.
The Blobz Guide to Electric Circuits is probably appropriate for grades 4-8 with groups of 1 to 5 students interacting with the site at once.
