Sophia is an academic community where everyone has access to learning that encompasses and supports the traditional classroom in an ad-free environment. Sophia was first mentioned on EDge21 in February of this year.
Sophia has recently augmented its social teaching and learning platform to include more than 25,000 absolutely free tutorials on math, science, English, and more.
Sophia also now offers a free professional development certificate for teachers who are interested in learning how to flip their classroom. You'll get a Flipped Class Certificate and a Sophia t-shirt. The Flipped Class Certificate is endorsed by Capella University and was developed in collaboration with School of Education faculty.
