Catch of the Day - AnswerGarden - 1/31/2011

AnswerGarden is a new minimalist tool for anyone interested in an easy and powerful way to get group feedback.

AnswerGarden can be used for online brainstorming in the classroom. Use AnswerGarden at conferences and workshops to engage with the audience in a fun and interactive way. It can be embedded it on your website or blog as a poll or guestbook.

Easily create a new AnswerGarden by entering a topic on the Create New AnswerGarden page and then press the "Create" button. Then specify if you want to turn on the Unlimited Answering option. If selected, users can submit as many answers as they like. You might use this option for group brainstorming. Otherwise, users can submit only one answer to that garden per day. Your AnswerGarden is then created and ready for use.

Export the data from AnswerGarden to Wordle or Tagxedo to make make graphically appealing tag clouds. You find these export functions in the options-panel below your garden.

This is a nice simple way to gather answers for a class. I use it often!

All comments to this blog are reviewed before being published. The chances of you getting a comment including ridiculously obvious "hidden" hyperlinks to porn sites or other spam published is virtually zero. So, save your time as well as mine, and take your tawdry business elsewhere.
