Gapminder wants to make data more accessible and easier to use for quick visual analysis. It is their belief that education at almost all levels lacks adequate tools to do this.

Gapminder is currently working on ...

  • Keeping their tools and statistical content up-to-date and making time series freely available in Gapminder World and Gapminder Countries.
  • Producing videos, Flash presentations, and PDF charts showing major global development trends with animated statistics in colorful graphics.

Download and install the Gapminder Desktop application and you can use Gapminder World with all its indicators from your computer, even when you have no Internet access.
