Catch of The Day - SpiderScribe - 8/9/2011

SpiderScribe is a free online mind mapping and brainstorming tool that lets you organize your ideas by connecting notes, files, maps, etc. in free-form mind maps.

With an intuitive and easy-to-use interface, SpiderScribe allows you to create free-style maps by connecting items in any way you like. Maps are made by combining elements like text, images, files, calendar events, and geographic locations called stencils. Stencils can be customized in a variety of ways: images can be resized, the text can be formatted, etc.

Your maps are stored in the cloud and consequently can be accessed from anywhere using a Flash-enabled web browser. You can share those maps online and collaborate with others anywhere. You can also print maps and export them as images.

SpiderScribe lets users create public maps that can be viewed by anybody or private maps that can be shared only with others who have been granted permission.
