Quizlet Adds New Tools and Features

Quizlet, a free website where you can make, find, use, and share flashcards to study vocabulary, languages, and more, was first mentioned here in October of last year.

Quizlet has just announced several new features including a new study mode, Speller, and text-to-speech audio in 18 languages.

With Speller you type what you hear. Listen to a term or definition and type in the correct response. If you make a mistake, Quizlet will show you which letters you missed and spell the word out for you so you can try again.

An improved Create Flashcards page even easier to use. Now the symbols and accents needed for languages are there automatically. Importing data takes just one click. And you can edit existing flashcard sets right from the main flashcard mode page.

The Quizlet user interface is now available in German, French, Chinese, and Japanese.
