Animaps extends the My Maps feature of Google Maps by letting you create maps with markers that move, images and text that pop up on cue, and lines and shapes that change over virtual time.

An Animap is displayed like a video. Viewers can play, pause, rewind, fast-forward, slow, or speed up the action.

Animaps can be designated as Public or Private. Public maps will be searchable using the internal Animaps search function and also by normal Google searches. Private maps cannot and are available only through a sharable link.
