Catch of the Day - Knoword - 3/1/2011

 

Knoword is a word game involving quick thinking and smart decision-making.

Play begins in Knoword when you are given one randomly selected dictionary definition along with the first letter of the word corresponding to the definition. Win points and bonus time by completing the rest of the word.

Initially, you will have one minute before the round ends. Finding a word extends your time. If you get stuck on a word, clicking the Skip button will give you a new puzzle.

Players can acquire badges and additional points by getting certain numbers of words consecutively correct. Save your scores and badges by signing up for a Knoword member account, and see how you measure up against other Knoword players.

There are two selectable game modes, Normal and Hard. Knoword is available in US English or British/Canadian English.
