UNdata is an internet-based data service for the global community bringing easy access to United Nations statistical databases to users through a single entry point.
UNdata has a goal of promoting the straightforward global dissemination of statistical information. Users users can search for and download a variety of statistical resources from throughout the UN system.
The United Nations, since its inception, has been collecting a vast amount of statistical information from member states on a variety of topics. UNdata pools major UN databases as well as those of several international organizations into one place. The innovative design allows a user to access a large number of UN databases either by browsing the data series or through a keyword search.
UNdata is the brainchild of UNSD, the statistical arm of the Department of Economic and Social Affairs and the coordinator of statistical activities throughout the UN System.
