Catch of the Day - ChemEd DL - 2/3/2011

The Chemical Education Digital Library is a storehouse of digital resources for chemistry education. ChemEd DL strives to be "the place on the Web where you can contribute, share, organize, and use high quality chemistry education materials."

Chemistry teachers and students are able to find, use, classify, contribute, and evaluate the extensive ChemEd DL resources collections. ChemEd DL hopes to provide the best of what chemistry education has to offer by way of collaborations with individuals, communities, and other organizations.

ChemED DL includes a large online chemistry education community that covers the entire spectrum of the chemical sciences. Communities develop in ChemEd DL around areas of content, such as the periodic table or chemistry video, or around pedagogical methods, such as testing and assessment.

ChemEd DL resources are classified using a number of keywords organized by Topic, Pedagogy, Element, Domain, and Audience.

See the complete list of keywords here.

ChemEd DL partners and collaborators include the Journal of Chemical Education, the American Chemical Society Education Division, the National Science Digital Library and the Chemistry Collective Project.

WOW! What a fantastic collection. Passing this on to my chemistry buddies, they will love it!
