Shmoop is a popular website loaded with teaching and learning resources in literature, social studies, biographies, music, pre-algebra, and test prep. I first wrote about Shmoop in September 2009.
Shmoop just announced the launch of a TV-themed online ACT prep program that keeps students "tuned-in" by peppering its lessons with "snippets from the TV shows you love. Or, love to hate. Or, say you hate, but secretly love."
Three full-length, timed practice ACT exams, a thousand ACT practice problems, and thirty-eight in-depth lessons make up Shmoop's online ACT preparation. Shmoop ACT prep includes reviews and drills on all of these topics: English, math, reading, science reasoning, and writing.
Six months of Shmoop online ACT prep is available to an individual student for $23(US). Group rates are also available to school entities and libraries.
