Inkling Now on iPhone/Touch

Inkling, first mentioned here in the fall of 2010, offers digital textbooks that are interactive, flexible, and less costly than traditional paper textbooks.

Earlier this week, they announced that their previously iPad-only app is now a universal app that will allow users to access Inkling ebooks using their iPhone or iPod Touch.

"Today, everything on Inkling can fit in the palm of your hand with Inkling for iPhone. This is the first time anyone has shrunk down something as complicated as a textbook or cookbook to an iPhone screen — and still made it as enjoyable to read and experience as on an iPad or computer screen. Now, it’s even easier to watch videos, spin 3D models, take quizzes, and search the book while walking to class, taking the bus, or waiting in line."

Inkling for iPhone is free in the iTunes App Store.
